Our fine art paper is made at the Schut Mill in the Netherlands. The Schut Mill was founded in 1617—the same century as J. Herbin. It has an almost 400 year tradition of quality paper-making.

Basics Sketchbook

The Exacompta Sketchbook contains heavy weight 100 g laid-finish paper that is ideal for use with a fountain pen, calligraphy nib, rollerball or felt-tip pen.

The cream-colored paper is pH neutral, 25% cotton, and has a bit of texture to it.

Exacompta sketchbooks and journals are sewn and bound, meaning the books open flat while pages won’t become loose and fall out with use.
